| Gene Description | LRIG2, leucine rich repeats and immunoglobulin like domains 2, is a member of the LRIG family protein that regulates cell proliferation and survival through activation of receptor tyrosine kinase signaling (PMID: 31580518, PMID: 30015847, PMID: 24023893). LRIG2 mutations have been identified in lung, stomach, endometiral, pancreatic carcinomas and melanoma (PMID: 25183430), overexpression of Lrig2 has been identified in uterine cervical squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) (PMID: 20553099), cutaneous SCC (PMID: 31580518), glioma (PMID: 28943909), and non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 25013483), while decreased expression of Lrig2 has been identified in endometrial adenocarcinoma (PMID: 29358688). | ||||||||||
