| Gene Description | CDC27, cell division cycle 27, is a component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C) ubiquitin ligase, which plays a role in chromosome segregation and mitosis through regulation of cell cycle protein degradation (PMID: 33750395, PMID: 31652364). CDC27 mutations have been observed in several tumor types (PMID: 28069571, PMID: 31652364), including osteosarcoma (PMID: 25496518) and vestibular schwannoma (PMID: 28409725), and a CDC27-BRAF fusion has been identified in melanoma (PMID: 24345920). | ||||||||||
