Mepron (atovaquone) is an anti-malarial drug typically used to treat pneumocystis pneumonia and toxoplasmosis, however, may also have an effect on cancer stem cells via the Warburg effect, potentially resulting in decreased cell proliferation and apoptosis (PMID: 27136895).

Filtering
